Bob Hartley & Associates assists executive management in the planning and implementation of projects. This is achieved by using proven project management processes to meet the project stakeholders' objectives. Our products and services are based on the philosophies documented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ®) ¹ and other standards published by PMI, under the guidance of Bob Hartley PMP®.
Specific focus areas include:
- Portfolio Planning and Program Management - Ensure that the selected programs and projects are aligned to strategy, and sequenced for implementation with requisite resources to deliver business benefits.
- Alignment of Stakeholders to project purpose, goals and deliverables - Commit to a shared understanding of what will be created and create an overall "roadmap" for the project showing the key decisions needed and the work/data required to make those decisions.
- Project Definition and Detail Planning - Specify what has to be delivered; define all the work and identify the human resources and procurements needed.
- Risk Management - Identify sources of risk; assess likelihood of occurrence and impact; set priorities and develop contingency plans consistent with the risk appetite of the company.
- Project Leadership - Clarify purpose; assign and monitor tasks; create an environment where
every team member has the same goals and shares information.
- Project Implementation and Control - Monitor progress, assess progress versus plan and implement corrective action when appropriate.
